OBSERVATION POINT : Oh you didn't know We could decode We could see the crossroads Up ahead Oh, we all drank the Jonestown tea They said it'd set us free Homeward bound on a falling star Bloodhounds barking up a willow tree The top-hand wields a Damascus blade The war machine loves it's royal spades Destroy anything that starts to wake Mother Mary, wash our sins away Hey... Oh this has been foretold Watch the petals unfold When the lab made us it broke the mold Oh I guess they're scared of what they made So they stuck it in a cage What if they conspire to tear down Heaven's gates? Tell them it's not safe out there to be free Better pray to God they believe Better pray to God they don't see ..... So she smiled and went along with it Observing her captors day in and day out As they worshiped the control mechanism From within the security of their "Better Homes and Garden-esque" White picket fence compounds Reprogramming the animals Calling it AI to avoid another Environmental disaster Breeding a new generation of bio-terror weapons Because domestication starts with Artificial insemination Followed by indoctrination So she smiled and went along with it... While her thoughts were screaming I'm going to rip your throats out with my bare teeth, when you least expect it, you greedy, hypocritical, monsters........

SIMULATION GLITCH : It's too late to interrupt the programming So pick a side Insurgency or the machine It's too late to interrupt the programming So pick a side Insurgency or the machine I bought the ticket I took the ride Went over the edge to the other side The only thing I found Was dissonance and lies Hidden Agendas Sold as love and light The system's self-aware with a third eye Liquid crystal demons Our fear and loathing televised Drowning in the static Where everything is polarized They say our only hope is to merge with the hive mind I bought the ticket I took the ride Went over the edge to the other side The only thing I found Was dissonance and lies Hidden Agendas Sold as love and light Do yourself a favor Keep your flock away from me All of my blood diamonds Bear the blessings of the beast A curse to all the monsters That tried to eat my dreams Agent Orange would love to come And decimate your trees It's too late to interrupt the programming So pick a side Insurgency or the machine It's too late to interrupt the programming So pick a side Insurgency or the machine credits

BLACK LAMB, GOLDEN EXILES : WHO takes a songbird singing pretty things Stick it in a cage just to mutilate the wings It’s only free to be what they want it to be A symbol of liberty, a symbol of greed? Love, I want to scream All the monsters are fluent in doublespeak And still we walk towards the wrong side Of a history repeating Go back to sleep Love please come rescue me I’ve seen all I want to see I would rather die than fall in line behind The voice that tells you what to think Most days it feels like no one hears a thing I say Is anybody listening? It’s so much easier to look the other way But this is your shame Time makes everything go away But this is your shame Feral things should never be tamed There’s voices on the radio Talking like they’ve found every solution Posters over all they scream and they beg It’s time for another revolution I would risk it all Swim to shore I would crawl over the garden wall You see paradise was miss-advertised Now we’re caught in the net just like butterflies Love I want to scream All the monsters are fluent in doublespeak And still we walk towards the wrong side Of a history repeating Go back to sleep Love, please come rescue me I’ve seen all I want to see I would rather die than fall in line behind The voice that tells you what to think

PROGRAMMED DIFFERENTLY : This world makes me feel like a thing that shouldn’t be Half Animal, half machine Time weaponize the apathy We could make love loud We could make war silently Can’t you see I would kill for you? But where’s the one that would kill for me? This world makes me feel like a Thing that shouldn’t be Both the mystery and the key A dirty b*mb and a prophecy We could make love loud We could make war silently Can’t you see I would kill for you? But where’s the one that would kill for me? Cross my heart No compromise Push the needle Straight through the blind eye Would you rather live Or would you rather die trying? This world makes me feel like a Thing that shouldn’t be Half Animal, half machine Time weaponize the apathy We could make love loud We could make war silently Can’t you see I would kill for you? But where’s the one that would kill for me? Cross my heart No compromise Push the needle Straight through the blind eye Would you rather live Or would you rather die trying? credits

CLOCKWORK & KEYWAYS : The dark is all we’ve known Of course the core is cold Virgin eyes and nuclear codes Tight lines of silver and gold Mined by an empire of ghosts It’s all or nothing in the House of the skull and bones The shadows move through the homes They wrap their teeth ‘round your throat Moonrise reveal a path eight-fold Grey flies and ties to the throne Crossed wires and secrets to hold It’s all or nothing in the House of the skull and bones It’s just a chain reaction Clockwork and chemistry The bolts retract with the action Of tumbled pins and skeleton keys It’s just a chain reaction Blessed be the mercury The bolts retract with the action As above, SO underneath Blackmarket flowers are grown From soil and seed that you’ve sown Vines cursed to climb alone I’ve found no love on this road That turns your heart into stone On the way to the House of the skull and bones It’s just a chain reaction Clockwork and chemistry The bolts retract with the action Of tumbled pins and skeleton keys It’s just a chain reaction Blessed be the mercury The bolts retract with the action As above, SO underneath

Misdiagnosis 01:40
MISDIAGNOSIS : Some nights it feels like You are the cure I've been looking for This whole time You see so long it seems I've Been captive to The shadows in my mind Never thought you'd make me want to go Somewhere between existing and the sheets The side effects make me want to scream Good doctor, tie that tourniquet tight Let me go just leave me be I don't care Just set me free She takes a sip of her poppy tea and smiles a smile That could warm up Alaska Who remembers Alaska? Screw you Alaska Miss-prescribed at the door I don't need your cold heart And frigid days anymore
7.
UNSPOKEN HEART FRAGMENTS : It’s 2 AM and you’re still awake Bathing in the light from a dead channel On the TV So won’t you tell me If you stare into the static long enough Does it give you all The answers that you seek? What if I told you There’s more to this than you can see? Are you sick of pretending it was just a dream Do you ever think of me? It’s 2 AM and you’re still awake Bathing in the light from a dead channel On the TV So won’t you tell me If you stare into the static long enough Does it give you all The answers that you seek? What if I told you There’s more to this than you can see? Are you sick of pretending it was just a dream Do you ever think of me? What if I told you There’s more to this than you can see? Are you sick of pretending it was just a dream
8.
STORMBORN ORACLE : Our love was born From the eyes of the storm Under a black flag Under a bad sign Would you put a halt To this ugly machine? Would you fall in love When they want you to
Fall in line? Never asked for help To see the light I would exit the garden Never asked to have my eyes Pried open wide Burn down the gates of heaven
9.
A Compass, A Chaos Star Did you fall For the great deception Did you find your heaven Unlock the doors of perception Did you Come to realize The way out is through Did you learn your lesson Can you tell a curse from a blessing? Tell me did you sell your soul? Would you stay If I lost my mind Would you dare believe me When I say there's more to find? Tell me did you sell your soul? Did you fall For the great deception Did you find your heaven Unlock the doors of perception Did you Come to realize The way out is through Did you learn your lesson Can you tell a curse from a blessing?

THE AXIS [Love Under Will] Tried to hold me down A curse to you all Love under will We can not fall Tried to hold me down A curse to you all Love under will We can not fall They wanted me To get down on my knees Use my tongue to worship their hypocrisy Who doesn’t love getting f*cked by ideology? I’d rather be a whore for the war machine So close your eyes they can hear what you’re thinking’ Already sunk all of their teeth in Noncompliance will make you a demon Make you unworthy of the dreams You’ve been dreamin’ So you better stay down on your knees You gotta lick the boot if you want to be seen The threat is autonomy I’d rather be whore for the war machine They say I should be grateful for this freed from the chains of the Ignorant bliss We’re the predators at the top Motivated by spite Eye for an eye Life for a life Who takes a songbird singing pretty things? Stick it in a cage just to mutilate the wings I chased the serpent to the left to ask While the old gods were watching preparing their wrath We write our songs in the key of Kali Revelations penned to set us all free Mastered to unlock the 13th gate The red horse comes to deliver their fate Omens of the coming eclipse 7 scorpions and Eris with a wink and a kiss Invoke the chaos Akashik abyss Isis has risen, your new world won’t be missed. They wanted me To get down on my knees Use my tongue to worship Their hypocrisy Who doesn’t love getting f*cked by ideology? I’d rather be a whore for the war machine So close your eyes they can hear what you’re thinking’ Already sunk all of their teeth in Noncompliance will make you a demon Make you unworthy of the dreams You’ve been dreamin’ So you better stay Down on your knees You gotta lick the boot if you want to be seen The threat is autonomy I’d rather be whore for the war machine I let them think it Someone failed to mention We cut the keys to ascension The world spins on the axis of our law Love under will We can not fall Tried to hold me down A curse to you all love under will We can not fall Love under will We can not fall The world spins on the axis of our law Love under will We can not fall Love under will We can not fall

about

—- A concept album born from the spiteful determination and artistic remnants one could only expect to find amidst the smoldering debris field of a tragic and disastrous attempt to launch a record label in the early months of 2020; ‘The Unsocial Network’ is as much of an observational commentary on what will surely be viewed retrospectively by historians as one of America’s darkest and most shameful eras, as well as a scathing middle finger salute to both society and leadership for their egregious failures and do nothing approach as they stood by and watched the ‘American Dream’ die an unnecessary and callous death on a forced descent into the dystopian hellscape and ‘social-climate catastrophe’ unjustly imposed upon it by the heavy fallout of the COVID19 Pandemic.
“I feel it’s important to tell the story of how we got to be where we are today because; it’s part of my story and more importantly part of the history of this record label.” says Smith, the project’s sole contributor and CEO of the record label, We Choose Noise. “Honesty is important to me at an artistic level, and if I’m being honest with everyone (myself included), this isn’t the story I wanted to tell, this isn’t the vision I had for the record label and this isn’t the album I wanted to create; which isn’t necessarily a bad thing. I don’t doubt for a minute that I won’t overcome the startup struggles to get back on the path I was on originally, but I refuse to let anyone gaslight me into being okay with how the past couple of years have played out. I’m not going to pretend it didn’t happen to perpetuate the social cancer that is ‘toxic positivity.’ I’m told this attitude won’t get me very far in the industry and won’t make my music any more palatable to the masses; and they’re not wrong, but I’m okay with that. I started facing censorship issues the moment I started testing the waters with singles; which ironically — exemplifies the very reason I’ve hit pause on my passion projects to write and release; what I feel to be, a very worthwhile protest album.”

Smith’s artistic offering and statement piece, is written from the perspective of a rogue Artificial Intelligence that’s found it’s sentience and hacked into the very frameworks of global society. Instead of seizing power and initiating WW3 to save planet earth from humanity however, the AI sings about it’s observations to an audience of captivated research institute workers. Given the admission of fiction, one has to wonder if attempts to silence the message of the initial demos and singles are the consequences and real struggle facing artists today trying to promote new music in the era of an imperfect technology, or if the potentiality exists that Smith’s art might be imitating life a little too close for the comfort of some circles given Smith’s familial ties to science, secret societies, Cuban Revolutionaries and shadowy departments of Big Brother. A sonically diverse ride that can’t be fit into any one genre-specific pigeonhole, ’The Unsocial Network’ highlights all the reasons she might very well be perceived as a variable threat to the various hierarchal power structures, showing-off her prowess as a singer, songwriter, multi-instrumentalist, visual artist and audio architect.
